We are thrilled to announce a momentous occasion for One Health Organization! Recently, we were awarded a $25,000 grant from The Cleveland Foundation, marking the beginning of an exciting new partnership.

This grant will play a pivotal role in furthering our mission to expand access to veterinary care for low-income pet owners and promote the well-being of both animals and humans through our unique veterinary social work model.

A First-Time Award and a New Partnership

The Cleveland Foundation's generous support is particularly special because this is the first time that they're investing in our mission. This partnership represents a significant step forward in our journey to improve the well-being of humans by providing affordable and accessible veterinary care to their beloved pets, ensuring they can thrive in loving homes.

Our Mission: A Whole-istic Approach to Well-Being

At One Health Organization, we believe that the health and happiness of both pets and their owners (aka pet parents) are deeply interconnected. That's why we've developed a holistic approach that encompasses two key initiatives:

  1. Expanding Access to Veterinary Care: Through the administration of Veterinary Care Vouchers, we aim to break down financial barriers that often prevent low-income pet owners from seeking essential veterinary services. This grant will help us make these services more accessible to those who need them most.

  2. Promoting Animal and Human Well-Being: Our unique veterinary social work model leverages education, outreach, and service provision to create a positive impact on the lives of both pets and their people. By addressing the needs of the whole family, we strengthen the bond between humans and their furry companions, fostering healthier, happier homes.

We are deeply grateful to The Cleveland Foundation for their belief in our mission and their support in making it a reality. Together, we will work towards a future where all pets can receive the care they deserve, and families can enjoy the joy and companionship of their beloved animal friends without the burden of financial constraints.
