Hello Cheryl!

February is a time to celebrate love—not just between people, but the deep bond we share with our pets. This month, we’ve seen love in action: from generous donors helping pet families to a special success story about a pet parent paying it forward to our Valentine’s Pawty, where our community came together to support pets in need.

In this month’s edition of the Healthy Pet Gazette, we’re excited to share:

  • A recap of our Valentine’s Pawty, where pet lovers gathered to celebrate and support our mission

  • Kit’s heartwarming story and how she’s giving back after receiving help

  • An update on our Veterinary Care Voucher Program, with over 70 families already applying for assistance this year

Your continued support makes all of this possible. Whether it’s through donations, sharing our mission, or attending events, you are helping pets stay happy, healthy, and home where they belong.

As always, if you have any ideas for topics you'd like to see covered in future issues of the Healthy Pet Gazette, please email me!

Thank you for being part of the One Health family,

A Little Ice Couldn’t Stop the Love at the Valentine’s Pawty ā£ļø

Valentines Day Pawty-1

We know some people weren’t able to make it because of the ice storm, and we missed you! But for those who could brave the weather, the Valentine’s Pawty on February 8th at Taps and Tails Dog Park was a heartwarming celebration of love—for pets and the people who care for them.

Even with the icy conditions, pet parents and pups enjoyed a festive evening filled with paw print art, a fun photo booth, and an exciting raffle with incredible prizes. Most importantly, the event raised over $500 to help struggling pet parents access veterinary care, ensuring pets stay healthy and in loving homes.

To everyone who attended and those who supported from afar, thank you! Your generosity makes a difference for families and their beloved pets. We can’t wait to see you at our next event!

Kit Got Help—Now She’s Paying It Forward! 🐾

Kit and her Cat MoCROI

Kit and her husband share their home with a beagle and five beloved cats—including four polydactyl felines with extra toes. Caring for such a special pet family hasn’t always been easy, but thanks to our Voucher Cards, Kit has been able to provide essential care and keep her pets happy, healthy, and at home.

Inspired by the help she received, Kit has found ways to give back. When she learned about a recent matching gift campaign, she jumped at the opportunity to help other pet families in need:

ā€œWhat I donated was tripled! I can’t give a lot, but I like to look for ways to make it go further.ā€

Her story is a powerful reminder of how generosity comes full circle.

Helping More Pets Stay Healthy at Home šŸ’™

Helping More Pets Stay Healthy at Home

We're starting the new year with incredible generosity from donors committed to keeping pets and their people healthy at home. This support comes at a crucial time—already in 2025, more than 70 families have applied for Voucher Cards, highlighting the growing need for affordable pet care in Northeast Ohio.

Recently, we received three transformational gifts that will help expand this vital program:

  • The Lozick Family Foundation contributed $30,000 to support One Health Organization’s mission.
  • An anonymous donor stepped forward with an extraordinary $100,000 gift to further the organization’s efforts.
  • The same anonymous donor provided an additional $30,000 specifically for veterinary care vouchers, ensuring even more pets receive the medical attention they need.

ā€œThese extraordinary gifts come at a critical time, allowing us to expand our reach and provide essential support to pet families in need,ā€ said Dr. Anna, CEO and founder of One Health Organization. ā€œWe are deeply grateful for this generosity, which strengthens our ability to serve the Northeast Ohio community.ā€

This funding helps us provide Veterinary Care Vouchers to more families and also supports our long-term vision, including the plan to open our own One Health Clinic.
