Hello Cheryl!

As we move into the new year, we simply want to say thank you. Thank you for helping pets stay healthy at home with their families.

This year was full of generosity, community, and hope.  We’re grateful to share a few updates on what you helped make possible.

Thank you for an unforgettable matching challenge

Thank You-1

Because of you, the 2025 Matching Challenge was a heartwarming success. 88 donors came together to give more than $127,000. When combined with our donors’ matching contribution and the multiplied value of everyone’s support, the total impact exceeds $280,000.

This incredible support means hundreds of pets will receive essential veterinary care and countless pet parents will experience some relief from financial stress during the holiday season.

Because of you, families facing hardship will enter the new year with healthier pets, lighter burdens, and renewed hope. Thank you for turning compassion into life-changing impact.

With special gratitude

We also want to recognize Board Member Lindsey Talkington (KeyBank) and former Board Member Madi Maruna (Cavitch) for their partnership in stewarding a very generous $10,000 gift to the Matching Challenge. Their dedication—both current and past—reflects the commitment our board brings to this mission.

A $50,000 grant to help more pets access care

We’re honored to share that the Pepper Whiston Foundation has awarded One Health Organization $50,000 to help continue expanding access to veterinary care.

We’re honored to share that the Pepper Whiston Foundation has awarded One Health Organization $50,000 to help continue expanding access to veterinary care.

The foundation was established as a legacy charity by Richard M. Whiston, a lifelong lover of cats—wild and domesticated, large and small. Based in Connecticut, the Pepper Whiston Foundation supports a range of animal welfare initiatives, from feline health to big cat conservation. Richard M. Whiston was proud to leave a legacy that would improve the lives of cats around the world, and we’re deeply grateful that One Health is part of that legacy.
